My Story

For a long time, I tried to find self-worth through others’ approval- people pleasing, attention seeking, and performing. I felt lost, ashamed, and disconnected from my true self. These survival strategies gradually morphed into patterns of addiction, codependency, and emotional emptiness that left me feeling spiritually depleted. Healing opened the door to a compassionate and accepting relationship with myself, and a new sense of self-respect and serenity.

Early in life, we learn to adapt ourselves to feel safe and to find love and acceptance. Over time, these strategies can turn into patterns that keep us from genuine connection. Many of us start to rely on others to define our worth and hide parts of ourselves or become who we think we need to be. These old beliefs can make vulnerability seem dangerous and leave us craving a deeper sense of intimacy and understanding.

You don’t have to depend on these old strategies.

In therapy, we work together to recognize the strengths you’ve built through your experiences and become empowered to rewrite your story. Together, we’ll let go of the coping strategies that once protected you but now hold you back. Learn to connect with yourself and others with confidence and self-acceptance, opening space for genuine understanding and closeness. Heal and reclaim your dignity and your voice, knowing that you are worthy of real connection.
